โœฆ Synopsis

A gaussian based model potential is used in the framework of the FSCO approach to study the equilibrium geometries, force constants and charge distributions of some alkali halides (LiF, LiCI, NaF, NaCI, KF and KCI). The predicted results are in good agreement with the available experimental data and the results of other ahinitio studies.

A gaussian based mcdcl potential is used within the FSGO formalism to study a series of open-shell systems (e.g. LiH+, Nail+, Lit, Naf and LiNs+). Results for calculated equrhbrium geometries and dissociation energies arc compared to the corresponding quantities from available all-electron ab initio
