Glutaraldehyde-crosslinked bovine pericardium is widely used in bioprosthetic heart valve fabrication. In an attempt to set a scientific basis for more reproducible tissue selection, we produced and analyzed topographical maps of glutaraldehyde-treated bovine pericardium. Whole pericardia were divid
