To help Toyota dealers and technicians get light truck customers back on the road, Fel-Pro has developed cylinder head gaskets for Toyota 3.0 1 V6 engines. Fel-Pro claims to be the only American gasket manufacturer making its own gasket for this application.
Currently, the 1988-95 Toyota light trucks and 4-Runners with higher mileage are overheating as a result of cylinder head gasket problems. Because of high demand, the OE head gaskets for these engines are not readily available.
Fel-Pro's 3VZE cylinder head gaskets feature an improved combustion seal with extended lacing to strengthen critical areas. Compared to the early OE design, the Fel-Pro gaskets reduce the effects of casting motion, and ultimately, improve durability. In addition, Fel-Pro applies a proprietary coating combination to provide outstanding resistance to scuff. The coating also assures a better microseal over the extended steel faces --an improvement over the OE design.
