Abstract
A preliminary study of the fate of radioactive sulfur (Na~2~S^35^O~4~) given intravenously to patients with progressive systemic sclerosis has revealed an appreciably greater radioactivity in the involved skin. The evidence presented suggests an abnormal rate of uptake of sulfur in the sclerotic skin even in the absence of progression.
