In the wake of her canceled wedding, Hannah Greenfield needs a fresh start. Or at least, a serious change of scenery. On a whim, she signs a short-term lease in the idyllic Folly Beach, South Carolina, the perfect place to figure out who she is and what she wants. Meeting someone new is the last thing on her mind, but then, she wasn’t expecting Blythe Fitzgerald to be waiting on her doorstep. The chemistry between them is as immediate as it is undeniable, and even though Hannah still has the tan line from her engagement ring, would it be so wrong to have a little harmless fun?

After an embarrassing and disastrous end to her last relationship, Blythe moved to the coast to be closer to her sister’s family. Her new routines are set—repair jobs for the vacation rental company she works for, cruising around the sound in her boat, and hanging out with her sister’s children, a.k.a. “her niblings”. It seems like all she’ll ever need to stay happy. That is, until Hannah and her teenage daughter drive into town, promptly reawakening Blythe’s wish for a happily ever after of her own.

But Blythe’s not into casual relationships, and Hannah is yet to decide if she’ll stay when her lease is up. Is it possible to be right for each other when the timing’s all wrong?
