The Β«FAMOUS FIVEΒ» are Julian, Dick, George (Georgina by rights), Anne, and Timothy the dog. Ragamuffin Jo could have been Georgeβs double β it was astonishing how much alike they were. And Jo had a way with dogs, too. She was fearless, and could climb like a cat, which was lucky when it came to making a quick get-away from Red Tower.
