✦ Synopsis
Synthetic procedures have been developed for the preparation of spiro(2,3-dioxypropylmethacryloyltetrachlorcyclotriphosphazene, N 3 P 3 Cl 4 -[OCH 2 CH(OC(O)סCH 2 )O] (2) and spiro((2-methyl-3-oxy-2-(oxymethyl)propyl)methacryloyltetrachlorocyclotriphosphazene, N 3 P 3 Cl 4 [OCH 2 CMe(CH 2 OC-(O)סCH 2 )CH 2 O] ( ). The 1 H, 13 C and 31 P NMR spectra have been analyzed using two-dimensional (COSY and HETCOR) techniques and spectra simulation methods. The crystal and molecular structure of 3 has been investigated by single-crystal X-ray diffraction techniques. The crystals are monoclinic with the space group P2 1 /C with a ס 12. 154(5), b ס 7.825(5), and c ס 20.208(10) A ˚and b ס 103.240Њ with V ס
