A resolved ESR spectrum of a rulhenium(I1) polyazme radical complex has been observed for LIE first time in the bmuclear species [(bpy),Ru,(dptz)J3* (dptz: 3.6-di-2-pyridyl-l,2,4,5-telrarine). Electron spin resonana in conpntion wilh HMO MsLashlan calculations mal the lcnxlization of the unpaired elcc~ron in the r&zinc ST 5)31tm and a strongly polaridng effect of the [R~(bpy)~]~' Iragmmr.
