FIRST INTERNATIONAL SYMPOSIUM ON ACOUSTIC EMISSION FROM REINFORCED COMPOSITES

The purpose of this Symposium, to be held in San Francisco, California, USA, from the 18th to the 21st of July, 1983, is to bring together for the first time all who have had a significant involvement in applications, research, instrumentation and codes for acoustic emission from composite materials; to create an environment where cross-fertilisation of ideas will take place; to summarise what has been accomplished and set directions for the future developments and applications in this field.
