## Abstract Optimizing experiments for the bottom tuyere configuration and blowing parameters of the 120 tonne top and bottom combined blowing converter at Shaoguan Iron & Steel Co. were carried out in a reduced‐scale water model. Results showed that the former configuration with 6 bottom tuyeres i
