My name is Rune, and I know everyone makes mistakes; it’s just that mine end up capable of razing a city to the ground.

A gigantic dragon holds court on the upper levels of a business-district skyscraper (dragons always know where the treasure is located). The fire-breathing serpent turned an entire prison complex into metal sludge, and it holds the country hostage via telepathic control of thousands of supernaturally-powered minions. The city is paralyzed by fear, and city officials are beginning to bend to the creature’s will.

I’m willing to make amends. I’m just understandably hesitant about being used as dragon-bait.
