✦ Synopsis
Finite temperature transport quantities, as the optical conductivity a(w), the d.c. resistivity p(T), the Hall conductivity, are studied in the planar t -J model at various hole dopings using a novel method based on the Lanczos diagonalization of small systems. At optimum doping a(w) spectra show a slow non-Drude fall-off at large frequencies, while p(T) reveals a nearly linear T dependence, both results being in quantitative agreement with experiments on cuprates.

The temperature and doping dependence of the dynamic spin susceptibility in tke planar t -J model is studied in small systems. Finite temperature dynamic correlation functions are calculated on clusters with up to 20 sites with the method, based on the Lanczos diagonalization technique and random sa
