Abstract
A full‐wave CAD tool has been implemented for the design of H‐plane rectangular‐waveguide passive circuits. The software is based on the finite‐element method and evolution programs. The tool has been employed for the design of a load, optimized for both miniaturization and robustness with respect to fabrication tolerances. © 2001 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.
