Completed recently, the holder piston weighs 1,2oo,ooo lbs. and floats on gas of approximately eight inches of water-column pressure. The top has been done in checkerboard orange and white for aviation benefits, the rest of the holder in battleship gray. Incidentally, 4800 gallons of paint were used for the job.
