✦ Synopsis
We propose new and simple designs that allow one to adjust the relative frequency of photonic crystal waveguide lasers included in a laser array. Using numerical simulations, we demonstrate that wavelength shifts smaller than 2 nm can be achieved while remaining compatible with common lithographic precision. Specific details of the implemented methods allow to deal with relative shifts as small as ≈2 × 10 -4 .
