โฆ Synopsis
A ncurofibrillar and neurotubular ultrastructure of manirnalian axoplasm has been observed conyistently after glutaraldehyde fixation. The embedding media (Epon, Maraglas, Vestopal W, Araldite), dehydration procedure (alcohol, acetone) and counter-stain used (lead citrate, uranyl acetate, phosphotungstic acid) played no significant role in the selective demonstration of neurotubules or neurofibrils. It was suggested that the neurotubules may form part of the neurofibrillar apparatu.; described by Cajal.
