In summary, we believe that our modification of the classical LMPCR technique of Garrity and Wold will be of considerable benefit to in vivo footprinting investigations of GC-rich regions and may also be useful in other analyses dependent upon LMPCR, such as in studies of in vivo methylation status and in genomic sequencing.
