โฆ Synopsis
We investigated temperature and field dependences of the resistance of K 0 3Mo03 along the b-axis below the threshold field(ET) for the charge-density wave sliding, and variation with time of the resistivity.
Variation with time of the resistivity can be fitted by a sum of exponentials. We propose that CDW domains with different activation energy relax independently.
The finally realized state is not uniquely determined by the field, because electrical hysteresis is observed even after long time.
The zero field conductivity measured by reducing the field from above E T, can be fitted to the Arrheniusplot; the CDW configuration near zero field, after the electric field exceeds ET, is stable against temperature change.
