To the Editor I have read with great interest the recent review by Marleen AE van der Kaaij et al. ; the authors are congratulated for their fine review. There is, however, a small mistake in reporting the results of Waxman et al. This old study, from 1987, has found that 4 of the 8 patients in the GnRH-a group suffered premature ovarian failure (POF) (50.0%) versus 6 of the 9 patients in the control group (66.7%), and not as erroneously reported by the authors, in table [1]: ' 3/9 occurrence of amenorrhoea or POF'; this may change a little the final results.
