✦ Synopsis
The temperature dependence of the magnetic susceptibility and the magnetization curve of the organic free radical, 2-(4-nitrophenyl)-4,4,5,5-tetramethyl-4,5-dihydro-lH-imidazolyl-l-oxy 3-oxide ( 1). have been measured. It is found that ferromagnetic intermolecular interaction obtains in the crystal of' 1. The Curie and Weiss constants are 0.375 emu K mol-' and +0.9 K, respectively.
