We have measured the de Haas-van Alphen effect up to 15T on SmGa 2 and PrGa 2. It was found that angular dependances of low frequency branches for both compounds are very similar to that of LaGa 2 while high frequency branches in SmGa 2 are completely different from that of LaGa 2. Magnetization has
