## Abstract ## BACKGROUND. Reconstruction is rarely incorporated into the decision‐making process for surgical breast cancer treatment. We examined the importance of knowing about reconstruction to patients' surgical decision‐making for breast cancer. ## METHODS. We surveyed women aged ≤79 years
