Plant instructions prescribed to clean this powder by wet way. Waste of moistened silicon powder appears as a result. This paper contains experimental data on kinetic of hydrogen release in the process of silicon reaction with water and some water solutions. It is shown that released hydrogen forms explosion dangerous mixtures.
