## Abstract A modified emulsifierโ€free emulsion polymerization of butyl methacrylate (BMA) with ionic or/and nonionic comonomers was successfully used to prepare nanosized poly(butyl methacrylate) (PBMA) latices with high polymer contents. After seeding particles were generated in an initial emulsi
