The selective hydrogenation of 13-butadiene was studied in the presence of a 1O:l excess of lbutene over supported bimetallic catalysts containing palladium in a vapour phase atmospheric plug flow reactor in the temperature range 288-313 K. Addition of copper to alumina-supported Pd increases its se
