β¦ Synopsis
A software package developed for the purpose of feature selection in statistical pattern recognition is presented. The software tool includes both several classical and new methods suitable for dimensionality reduction, classiΓΏcation and data representation. Examples of solved problems are given, as well as observations regarding the behavior of criterion functions.

In fuzzy classi"er systems the classi"cation is obtained by a number of fuzzy If}Then rules including linguistic terms such as Low and High that fuzzify each feature. This paper presents a method by which a reduced linguistic (fuzzy) set of a labeled multi-dimensional data set can be identi"ed autom
## In this article, we develop and analyze four algorithms patterns from large databases. As described in Fayyad for feature selection in the context of rough set method- (1996) and Simoudis (1996), this process is typically ology. The initial state and the feasibility criterion of all made up of s
