It is shown that the omission of the Y = 000 term in the reciprocal space expansion of structure factors of liquids eliminates the wrong asymptotic behaviour of the model at large r.

✦ Synopsis
In this paper, we show that an FDTD analysis pro¨ides all ( ) of the useful information to study de¨ices using photonic bandgap PBG materials into the reciprocal space of wa¨e ¨ectors. This new kind of analysis is ¨ery complete since it can consider ¨ery complex structures, excitations, or defaults in the dielectric periodicity of the PBG structure studied. This method pro¨ides the modes which propagate the electromagnetic energy, and the ¨alues of the k wa¨e ¨ectors. These ¨alues are compared to the wa¨e ¨ector read on the photonic band structure diagram.
