Abstract
Higher‐order‐mode coupling effects between radiating slots and coupling slots in centered‐inclined and longitudinal‐transverse types of crossed rectangular waveguide junctions are effectively analyzed in this paper by using a modified locally conformal finite‐difference time‐domain (MLC‐FDTD) algorithm. The errors arising from this higher‐order‐mode coupling are given in terms of the equivalent network S parameter. © 2003 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
