## Abstract A hybrid scheme combining Gaussian beam (GB) and physical optics (PO) approaches is presented for an efficient analysis of reflector antennas with taperedβimpedance edge boundaries. The reflecting surface is divided into an interior portion with uniform impedance and a smooth boundary,
