planar ferrite junctions. For brevity. only the effect of the inhomogeneous k component is shown. However, this calculation may be easily extended to thc cases with inhomogeneous componcnt p and the practical cases where both k and p are inhomogeneous and determined by the distribution of the magnetizing field. Different current and voltage distribution on the three ports of the circulator can also be encountered by using these methods. The above methods and calculations should be helpful to the research and design of MMIC ferrite junction circulators. REFERENCES I.
