Faërie n'est pas réellement un livre à part dans l'Univers de Tolkien et
ont trouvera dans ce livre 3 contes, "Le Fermier Gilles de Ham", "Smith
de Grand Wootton" et "Feuille de Niggle", qui composent un peu plus de
la moitié de l'ouvrage et qui comportent tous la "patte" du Maître. Ces 3
contes devraient plaire aux "petits" comme aux "grands" enfants que
nous sommes tous, amateurs de Fantasy...
La seconde partie est une discussion entre Tolkien et le lecteur sur
sa vision et sa définition du "Conte de Fées" un peu à la façon d'un
"Psy" qui lui aurait demandé de s'allonger sur le divan et de lui parler
de sa vision (parfois acerbe) de la Fantasy. Elle permettra aux fans de
Tolkien de mieux cerner la personnalité de l'auteur ainsi
que sa façon (parfois très originale) de voir les choses.
