โฆ Synopsis
We report the quasielastic neutron scattering results on an amorphous polyimide below the glass transition temperature T g ( 523 K). The so-called fast process in picosecond order has been observed far below T g . We also performed dynamicmechanical measurements at 10 Hz to find that the b-relaxation temperature is close to the onset temperature of the fast process although the difference in the frequencies in both the measurements are more than ฯณ10 10 Hz.
