## Abstract We present a simple homodyne phase measurement instrument to evaluate a light‐induced birefringence change in an Mg‐doped congruent lithium niobate crystal by using an integrated lithium niobate Zn‐indiffused phase modulator (ZIPM) for optical signal modulations.The results successfully
