We have measured the frequencies of 17 transitions in the far-infrared spectrum of the hydroperoxyl radical, \(\mathrm{HO}_{2}\), from 2.5 to \(5.9 \mathrm{THz}\), encompassing rotational levels up to \(N=19\) and \(K_{-1}\) \(=5\). These measured transition frequencies are combined with previously

β¦ Synopsis
The absorption spectrum of SiHq from 32 to 400 cm -' has revealed two soparatc bar.ds, one linear in density and one quadratic. From the linex band, the electric dipole moment produced in the ground vibronic state by centrifugal distortion effects has been estimated to be 9.3 X lob6 D in magnitude. From the quadratic band, the molecular octopole moment has been determined to be 3.0 X 1O-34 csu cm3 in magnitude. The simplicity of the tcchniqucs used is stressed.

We have measured the rotational spectrum of \(\mathrm{H}^{127} \mathrm{I}\) from 0.38 to \(4.58 \mathrm{THz}\left(13-153 \mathrm{~cm}^{-1}\right)\), encompassing the \(R(0)\) through \(R(11)\) rotational lines. using the \(\mathrm{CO}_{2}\) laser difference method for generating coherent far-infrare
Rotational transition frequencies of ArD Ο© were measured with an accuracy of a few hundred kilohertz in the 0.95-4.7 THz region, using a tunable far-infrared radiation source. Effective rotational parameters B, D, and H were determined for the ground vibrational state. The observed frequencies were
## Abstract The farβir absorption spectrum of lysozyme was measured at room and liquidβnitrogen temperatures. Dried layers of single crystals of tetragonal lysozyme chloride with a diameter of 100β300 ΞΌm were grown on a silicon plate. Such singleβcrystalline samples were considered to have the foll
