β¦ Synopsis
The rotational transition iv = 2 -1 of the OD+ ion in the X 'Z-, o = 0 state has been observed with parttally resolved hyperfine structure. Spectra were recorded using a tunable laser sideband spectrometer.
Analysis yielded improved values of rotational constants.

The high resolution Fourier transform far infrared spectrum of the torsion rotation band of CH 3 OD has been recorded in the range 20-350 cm 01 at a resolution of 0.002 cm 01 . The spectrum shows splitting of the lines due to strong torsional, rotational, and vibrational interactions in the molecule
Far infrared emission spectrum of AU= I bands of KC1 has been observed in the range from 230 to 295 cm-' with a resolution of 0.1 cm-'. Vibration-rotation transitions of the I-O, 2-1, 3-2 and 4-3 bands of K'TI were analyzed by a single least-squares tit to aset of seven Dunham coetlicients Y,. Y,,an
