Using h&h precisicn radiometry in conjunction with B hlichelson far infrared spectrometer the Bzu lattice mOdc of potyctftyiene has bezn observed at borh room and liquid-nitrogen tcmpcraturcs. The continuum absorption of poIyethyIene in the far infrared has been shown to be tcmpcrture dependent from
