The sternalis muscle is a well-known variation. According to Turner (1867), Cabrolius was the first anatomist to observe this variation in 1604, and Du Puy first made an accurate description of the variation in 1726. Cunningham (1888) indicated that Hallett first made a statement about its nerve sup
