Thirty-five patients with Hodgkin's disease experienced alcohol pain. Nodular sclerosis was the predominant histological grade (77%). Alcohol pain was associated with other factors generally considered to indicate an unfavorable prognosis--systemic symptoms, Stage II disease with multiple site invol
