In the early years of the first century AD, a small group of Roman citizens conspires with a barbarian tribe to conquer an entire province of the Roman Empire. Crushed by their defeat at the hands of the traitors, the soldiers who fought so bravely to defend their homeland have retired to relative obscurity.
