Porter is a Slater, a name that holds great pride throughout the village. He is destined to become a man of the cloth, but he has one vice, lust. When he meets Laura he can't seem to resist her. She is the most beautiful angel he has ever seen.

After Porter leaves, Laura discovers she is carrying his child and her mother is dying. In her despair she turns to Porter's father to reach out to the man who holds her heart. With no word from Porter, her mother dead and her baby ripped from her body, her mind slips and Laura finds herself in an asylum for the mentally ill.
It is here that Laura meets Alice. The woman who could save her, the woman who falls so deeply in love with Laura. Alice becomes obsessed with Laura, helping her to escape from the asylum, but Laura's heart is still Porters.
The love triangle becomes a deadly one. This story isn't for the faint of heart. It isn't a typical love story, but a very dark one, with murder and hate.
