β¦ Synopsis
Cross-media color matching is receiving a great deal of attention as a result of the increasing availability of color devices. The authors propose a practical approach to accurate color rendering, integrating colorimetric and interactive methods by means of feed-forward neural networks trained by back-propagation. This approach could substantially benefit CAD and multimedia systems, offering accurate color matching with a minimum of low cost equipment and little effort on the part of the user. Experimental results, also reported here, confirm the feasibility of the procedure.

## Abstract This paper proposes an algorithm for relational matching, which is important in pattern recognition, by using the Hopfield model as one of the neural network models. First, the objective function for relational matching is derived and the computer simulation of the neural networking for
## Abstract In this study, we tried to consider various color appearance factors and device characterization together by visual experiment to simplify the acrossβmedia color appearance reproduction. Two media, CRT display (softβcopy) and NCS color atlas (hardβcopy), were used in our study. A total
