Abstract
The idea that stewardship can be a euphemism to avoid some of the difficult issues surrounding religious giving is explored. An authentic understanding of stewardship and its practice can help unify faith and money, and can be one important step toward addressing the financial crisis facing Protestant and Catholic churches.
