Combined cycle power plants (CCPPs) have an important role in power generation. The objective of this paper is to evaluate irreversibility of each part of Neka CCPP using the exergy analysis. The results show that the combustion chamber, gas turbine, duct burner and heat recovery steam generator (HR

β¦ Synopsis
The failure analysis of a disc and a few of the rotor parts of a turbo-generator of a 10 MW captive power plant has been made. It was found that a part of the rim of the 23rd disc, which had cracked by fatigue, became unstable and was Β―ung o. This hit the diaphragm and the diaphragm carrier in its vicinity and led to their catastrophic failure.

The paper presents some preliminary results of diagnostic analysis of the simulated primary circuit of the THTR-300 nuclear power plant, based on the fuzzy sets theory. Two methods are used: the solution of the fuzzy relational equations and its extension to fuzzy logic. The first stage of the diagn
