Competitive intelligence that targets China-based companies-whether state or privately owned businesses, joint ventures, or foreign subsidiaries operating in Chinarequires an understanding of China's special business culture and environment. Key factors include the company's type of ownership, the government's involvement in its industry, and location in China.
