✦ Synopsis

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to examine the factor structure of the transformational leadership model in human service teams. As the nature of this work environment mandates certain management‐by‐exception practices, patterns of correlations between perceptions of active and passive management‐by‐exception behaviors and transformational, transactional, and laissez‐faire leadership were of interest. 236 leaders and 620 subordinates from 54 mental health teams completed the Multifactor Leadership Questionnaire, form 8Y. Results suggest that active and passive management‐by‐exception factors are independent constructs. Copyright © 2003 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.

## Abstract Previously, we reported that application of 10 μg recombinant human TGF‐β2 (rhTGF‐β2) enhanced peri‐implant bone formation and bone‐implant contact in a rat model. To further investigate the dose effect, the present experiment evaluated doses of rhTGF‐β2 bracketed around 10 μg (5, 10, 2

## Abstract Previous studies have investigated patterns of volumetric covariance (i.e. intercorrelation) among brain regions. Methodological issues, however, have limited the validity and generalizability of findings from these prior studies. Additionally, patterns of volumetric covariance have oft
