Jack Ramsay had retired. Living in his cabin in the woods, he'd left the military life behind after his last mission for the Coalition - a covert multi-national organisation - ended in his capture. Now his former commanding officer, Maxwell, has turned up on his doorstep to ask him to engage in one last mission.
A virus that turns the living and recently dead into zombies has been unleashed, and unless something is done to stem the tide of the undead, humanity is on the brink of annihilation. One scientist claims to have intel vital to countering the devastating effects of the plague, but she's trapped in a city overrun by the dead, and Jack is the best man for the job of getting her to the extraction point.
With a new team consisting of his best friend and more recent Coalition recruits, Jack leads them into city. Unfortunately for Jack, he's not the only one after the scientist.
With the ravenous undead closing in on all sides and a dangerous threat from the living, Jack will have to fight harder than he ever has before to complete his mission.
