✦ Synopsis
Magnetic field effects on the emission intensity were studied for the NO/3 bands in an afterglow produced by a microwave discharge of a N 2 -02 mixture. The (0, v") bands were quenched remarkably by an external magnetic field below 1.8 T, while the (1, o") and (2, v") bands were slightly intensified.
