✦ Synopsis
A patient with sevem stenosis of the right coronary atiery underwent successful stent placement. During high pressure postdilatation, the balloon ruptured, crruslng an extensive proximal dlsaection of the right coronary amry managed with the deployment of several addkionai stents. Strategies aimed at avoiding or mlnimirlng the consequences of high pressure balloon rupture are discussed.
