✦ Synopsis

It is shown that the electronic properties of materials with dislocations and di~linations may be viewed in the framework of the gauge approach. For this purpose the Lagrangian of the Kadi~-Edelen model is extended by adding electronic terms in the gauge invariant form, The exact monopole-like solution for static disclinations is considered. The Schrrdingcr equation in the presence of a static monopole-like disclination is studied. When the interaction between electron fields and acoustic waves is pre~nt, electrons with E < E~ arc found to be localized in the region of the core of disclination.
