✦ Synopsis
The 2.2-kb human cDNA clone PBL32, encoding for the lymphocyte homing receptor (LHR) was used to study the expression of this determinant in multi-drugresistant (MDR) variants of human T-lyrnphoblastoid CCRF-CEM (CEM) cells. LHR is significantly associated with the drugsensitive phenotype, its expression being progressively and quantitatively reduced in MDR variants of CEM cells according to the extent of drug resistance.
